In determining the nursing school rankings two data are being gathered. Both objective and subjective data are being utilized in measuring the academic expertise, the faculty performance, the students’ performance, the school’s overall performance and the system that runs the school.
These data will be collected through surveys which are often administered several times a year to provide a continuous measure of data. Objective data are gathered from the performance of incoming students as well as the current students of the school. Some of the data used in the nursing school rankings is the job placement of graduate students of a certain school. On the other hand, nursing school rankings get there subjective data from the satisfaction rating from the students from the program that they receive from the school they came from. After gathering these data, certain formulas are used to collate the data and produce analysis that could help in ranking the school.
